Dr Pillay holds a Master’s qualification in Homeopathic Medicine from the Durban University of Technology. She is a private practitioner on the register of the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). She also holds a certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA). Her tertiary years included regular consultations at the on-site private clinic in the Department of Homeopathy, as well as clinics and hospitals within the public sector. Throughout her academic journey, she assisted at and managed various wellness retailers from which she gained experience and knowledge instrumental to her establishment of private practice. Prior to her medical career, she completed two years of LLB (Law) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, until it was such that her true passion lay in the medical profession.
