My journey with Homeopathy started in 2007 when I entered into the Master’s program at the Durban University of Technology. I completed my community service at two Durban Government Hospitals (R.K. Khans and Addington) and various local clinics namely Redhill Red Clinic (Durban North), Kenneth Gardens Clinic (Glenwood), Ukuba (Warwick Junction) and the Homeopathic Day Clinic at DUT.
Alongside my Master’s degree in Homeopathic Medicine, I completed the Heel Advanced Bio puncture Course for the Administration of Homeopathic Injectables in 2012; Basic Paramedic and Emergency Medical Care short course in 2011 and Life Line Counselling Skills Course in 2010. During my campus years, I worked weekends at various health stores, gaining extensive knowledge on supplementation and nutraceuticals on the market. This experience assists me in being able to advise patients on the best quality products they should be taking.
After completing the 6 years of study, community service and my Master’s dissertation, I decided to intern and assist a well-established homeopath in her private practice for several years gaining invaluable clinical and practical knowledge, before opening my own private practice in 2017.
I am a registered Homeopathic practitioner with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). I am passionate about my profession and pride myself in providing treatment that is current, evidence-based and effective. I incorporate both clinical and classical homeopathy and draw on trainings of functional and lifestyle medicine in my holistic approach in the treatment of my patients. I am currently completing a post graduate course in genetic testing by DNAlysis to assist in practical, personalized nutritional and lifestyle solutions for my patients. I have a fully stocked homeopathic dispensary at my practice where medicine is both compounded and dispensed by me, which is convenient for patients and provides reassurance that they are getting the correct medication they need.
I offer homeopathic care for the entire family, for both acute and chronic conditions.
